Immortal (template)

An Immortal is one of the creatures in the FMA d20 setting.

"Immortals" are humans that have used alchemy to transfer their soul to another body. It is a dark process, and a doomed one. First the new body must have no soul or have its soul removed; secondly, the new body will waste away without its original soul. Without a supply of the Philosopher's Stone, Immortals' bodies will rot and they will have to move on to a new body, again and again. Only the most craven villains are willing to tear a soul from a healthy body to renew their own life.

Immortal is a template that can be applied to any creature with a soul.
