Shou Tucker, the "Sewing Life Alchemist" is the resident expert of biological alchemy in Central City. He first obtained his State liscense 4 years before the Elrics meet him by creating a chimera that talked like a human. However, all it ever said was, "I want to die." After failing his assessment, Shou snapped, and made a new Chimera, this time out of his daughter, Nina, and a dog. What happens to Shou differs between the anime and manga.

In the anime, he is carted off by the military and used for various dark behind the scenes projects. He becomes obsessed with brining Nina back, and after many failed attempts at human transmutation ends up as a mishapened chimera. He then abandons trying to bring Nina back as she was and sets out to create a new "perfect" Nina using his memories of her in place of her soul.

In the manga, he was held in his home to await trail, but was brutally murdered by Scar, who killed Nina as well after realizing she could not be returned to her normal form.

Shou's alchemy is used to fuse 2 creatures together on a molecular level, creating a chimera.
